Description
This deletes a portion of the engine bay feed hard line and replaces the filter. In factory form its ugly, bulky, and routed inefficiently. You will cut the feed and return hard lines back about 12″ inches and route over the trans to the LHD driver side. In stock form it would all potentially hit the downpipe. See photo below for visual reference. This creates a nice tidy look that will allow for easy install / uninstall. Plus it can be a safe distance from its neighbor, the exhaust.
1JZ and 2JZ swap S13 S14 S15 Fuel Line Kit Install Layout
There are many different needs out of fuel systems so we offer 2 main options for our Fuel Line Kits. Keeping the Stock FPR (CB-N-2JZF) and integrating an aftermarket external FPR (CB-N-2JZ-FPR).
Stock FPR kit has 2 hoses. The feed line routes from the hard line to the inline fuel filter. The inline filter mounts directly to the fuel rail closer to the front of the engine using a 90 coupler and adapter for the fuel rail. The return line is easy enough, attaching from the pressure regulator output to the hardline.
The Aftermarket FPR Kit adds an additional fuel line to integrate the FPR as well as the 3 adapters needed for the FPR to attach the lines to. The aftermarket FPR kit does not work with 2 port type, just the 3 port type. It mounts on the driver side shock tower just in front of the master cylinder (see photo below). It is a “dead head” setup which means the FPR is pre-fuel rail. Many kits have the FPR after the fuel rail which makes for 1 extra fuel line and more engine bay clutter. Chase Bays specializes in fixing clutter. The dead head setup is what the 3 port FPR’were designed for and is common practice in the motorsport world.
